Hello and welcome to my personal site! My name is Hans Kalisvaart, and I am a biochemist with over ten years of experience in the field. I am also a proud father of two wonderful children, who are the light of my life, although sometimes they can be a bit of a challenge!

In my free time, I love to go on vacation with my children and enjoy swimming with them. I am also an avid reader and enjoy exploring the worlds of science fiction and fantasy through books and series.

Currently, I am expanding my skills by learning Typescript and GO, which is one of the reasons why I decided to create this website. I hope to use this platform to share my experiences and insights on biochemistry, parenting, and everything in between.

Besides my interest in technology and programming, my professional foundation lies in the laboratory. Over the past ten years, I've specialized in protein purification and quality control within the pharmaceutical industry. Whether it's working with AKTA systems, HPLC analyses, or managing complex data in LIMS: I get my energy from solving technical puzzles!
