Aiming to discover the key microbial players in the Nitrogen, Sulfur and Methane cycles at the oxic/anoxic interface in various marine and freshwater ecosystems.

Short summary:Maintain bioreactor/fermentor, DNA isolation, PCR, cloning/sequence analysis, FISH, anaerobic cultures, GS-MS, and nitrite and ammonium assays.

Job Summary

Intern responsible for They were involved in maintaining bioreactors/fermentors, Molecular analyze bioreactor using DNA isolation, PCR, cloning and sequence analysis, FISH. Conducting GS-MS and nitrite and ammonium assays for comparison of anaerobe bacteria.
