Chinese Egg Tarts

Chinese egg tarts with creamy filling and flaky pastry.

Ingredients

  • For the dough: 200g flour, 140g butter, 70g powdered sugar, half egg.
  • For the filling: 150 ml water, 70g sugar, 2 eggs, 40 ml condensed milk

Instructions

First mix and knead the dough and refrigerate. For the filling, heat the water to dissolve the sugar. Place the dough into tart molds. Use a little flour if the dough is too sticky. Add eggs and milk to the sugar water, mix well and strain. Fill the molds to 80% with the strained mixture and place directly in the oven.
