Ingredients
- For the batter: 5 eggs, 150g sugar, 125g flour, 25g cornstarch, pinch of salt.
- For the frosting: 300g powdered sugar, 50g butter, 125g cream cheese.

Instructions
Grease the cake pan and preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Beat the eggs with sugar until frothy (at least 8 minutes on highest speed, 2 minutes on lowest). Sift the flour, cornstarch and salt and carefully fold through the mixture. Pour into the pan and bake for 35 minutes at 180 degrees. Let cool completely. Cut the cake in half and add a layer of jam in the middle. For the frosting: mix powdered sugar and butter until powdery. Add cream cheese and beat. Optionally add food coloring. Beat for another 5 minutes on high speed until fluffy. Spread frosting on the cake and refrigerate.
