Gratinated Rice with Minced Meat

Creamy casserole with rice, minced meat, broccoli and a cheese layer.

Ingredients

  • 250g rice
  • 300g ground beef
  • 250g Italian stir-fry vegetables
  • 250g broccoli
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 150g grated aged cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 ml whipping cream
  • 100g herb and garlic cream cheese
  • salt, pepper, paprika powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Cook the rice according to package directions. Clean the broccoli and divide into small florets. Peel and chop the garlic. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Heat the oil in a wok. Brown the minced meat until crumbly. Add the stir-fry vegetables, broccoli and garlic and stir-fry for at most 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Mix the cooked rice with the vegetables. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in 75 grams of grated cheese. Transfer the rice mixture to an ovenproof dish. Beat the eggs with the cream and herb cream cheese. Pour this mixture over the rice and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Bake in the middle of the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
