Ingredients
- Sweet pie dough or crumble pie dough
- 1 kilo semi-tart apples
- 50g sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 75g raisins
- 1 egg
Instructions
In a bowl, combine 3/4 of the egg, butter and sugar and beat until frothy, then add the baking flour. Refrigerate the dough. Peel the apples and cut into cubes, sprinkle the apple pieces with cinnamon and sugar, stir, add raisins and stir again. Use 2/3 of the dough for the bottom and sides. Add the apple filling. Cut strips from the remaining dough and weave them in a lattice pattern on top. Brush the dough strips with the remaining egg and bake at 175 degrees. Bake for 65 minutes.
