Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 3 cups sugar
- 2 cups semolina
- ¾ cup olive/sunflower oil
- cinnamon
- sesame
- raisins
- almonds
Instructions
Cook almonds to soften them. Boil water, sugar and cinnamon into syrup. Heat oil and semolina in a hot pan, when semolina darkens reduce heat. After 4 minutes add sesame, cook another 4 minutes until sesame opens. Slowly add syrup to the semolina. Then add raisins and almonds. Add sesame or sugar to taste if needed. Let rest at room temperature for about an hour.
